Spent 2 nights here. Although there's construction and not many food places nearby. I absolutely loved my stay here. Clean pod, bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Friendly staff at the reception desk. The free, regular ferry was a great positive too. I only found a supermarket near the ferry dock on my last few hours there! I'd definitely stay again amd visit the cute cafe that's nearby too.
I stayed 5 nights at this hostel. Let’s start with the positive aspects: it’s very clean, the pods are reasonably comfortable, the showers are great and the staff are friendly Now the negatives (they’re quite significant): I booked this hostel instead of others that were much more centrally located, and even more affordable, with the assumption that I would be trading convenience for more privacy and especially better sleep. I was disappointed as it was pretty noisy, with many people checking in very late and checking out pretty early. Not to mention people not silencing their phone, or being plainly inconsiderate in various ways. This is amplified by the fact that the dorm is very dense (~40 pods in a small area), which increases the probability of at least one person doing something noisy! In fact, most people don’t care. Because if my neighbour doesn’t make an effort, why should I ?? Typical prisoner’s dilemma and Nash equilibrium. On the fourth night, some idiot kept unzipping and zipping his bag(s) past midnight. Anyways, this negatively affected my sleep and consequently my travel experience. On top of that, there’s really nothing much in terms of food around the hostel. Furthermore, people seldom talk to each other at this hostel, so there’s no social vibe either. Really struggling to find the value proposition here. You spend an extra ~50 minutes each day doing the round trip to the center (thank God the weather was pleasant), with a marginal (if any) benefit in terms of sleep quality. Lastly, the light in my pod was malfunctioning (I had to ask the staff to intervene twice to fix it). Pod 31. Next time I’ll definitely stay in one of the centrally-located hostels.
Nice and fresh sleeping area. Fairly quiet, despite 20+ people in one room. No kitchette or faucet. Can only get water from bathroom. No fridge or microwave. Main room has one table to eat food. Very loud music makes it unpleasant to sit at. Hard-to-reach area, about 15 min walk to closest connection-area. Easy by bike though.
Perfectly fine. Pros: - price - relatively high privacy (compared to hostels) - clean, functional, modern shared bathroom/shower facilities - private locker (it’s not state of the art, but it’ll stop opportunists) Cons: - most of the usual cons for a hostel, noise and reduced privacy - the bed for me at least was too warm to sleep comfortably, there’s no way to adjust your own capsule’s temperature. - location is a bit out of the way, its 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest public transport which is fine, but below expected for being “in city” I’d possibly stay here again, the 3 stars isn’t intended to signify the place isn’t good, I’m glad these capsule hotels exist and this one is fine. But these are the points I’d have liked to consider when choosing.
I really loved my time here! I expected the cabins to feel small, but they’re actually so well designed that you feel perfectly comfortable. Everything is clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. Even the lighting can be adjusted for a cozy, relaxing vibe. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. I also really appreciated the calm atmosphere, perfect after a busy day exploring the city with my friends who were staying elsewhere. It’s a great choice for solo travelers with modern design and comfort in mind.
