Next, you'll walk to the centre of the Red Light District where your guide will tell you everything about the sex work industry, coffeeshop culture, and the history of the Amsterdam Red Light District. In this area you will see many curiosities, like the narrowest street of Amsterdam, famous coffeeshops, an indoor prostitution street, and many 'smartshops'. Your guide will tell you what it's like to work as a prostitute in the Red Light District, the liberal laws, and tell you many interesting facts about sex work in Amsterdam. Your guide will also tell you about the coffeeshop culture of Amsterdam. Learn where the name “coffeeshop” comes from, as well as some of the weird laws there are on the consumption and production of soft drugs. Then walk to the Dam Square where the tour will end. On your way to this area you'll see some of the last sights of the tour, like the Condomerie, the Royal Palace and the Dam Square. After this tour you have the option to go to a coffeeshop with your guide to take a short workshop on how to roll a joint.
