The Hop On Hop Off bus in Amsterdam has one fixed route designed to show you the best of the city such as Dam square, the Museum Quarter, the Jewish Quarter and less explored areas such as the fascinating Jordaan with its scenic little streets and canals or Amsterdam's very own windmill that most tourists never get to see. The buses feature glass roofs, specially designed to get the best views as you pass by Amsterdam's main attractions. Added to this all buses have an interesting, multi-lingual on-board commentary which gives a historical perspective to this wonderful city.
Prices and Timings
Tickets for the Hop On Hop Off buses start at € 17 for a 24hrs pass and € 25 for 48 a hour pass with lower rates for children and a discount if you book directly on the website. Bus departures begin at 9.10 am from central station but you can start at any of the stops on the route, so it's good to check the times and route here. The Hop On Hop Off bus runs untill between 6pm and 7pm (In august the service is extended slightly) but again it's best to check the times for the your actual stop .

Tickets can be purchased online on the City Sightseeing Amsterdam website or at the various ticketing counters across town, including one of the many Tours & Tickets offices on the Damrak in the centre of the city.
