Discover the secrets of artisanal beer with this brewery tour and tasting session in the charming town of Monnickendam. Start your experience at the bar where a selection of refreshments will be provided. Then you’ll go on a tour of the brewery, while your enthusiastic guide provides explanations about the brewing process and how to bring the taste to life. Learn about the organic ingredients used at this brewery, and listen to explanations of the artisanal brewing process from the experts. Then enjoy tastings of four different beers of varying styles. These will be served alongside samples of organic foods, including fish and meat from the in-house smoker, baked goods from the organic bakery, and coffee from the Tanzanian roaster. After your tour, you can stroll into the historic center of the old fisherman’s town of Monnickendam. Amsterdam central train station is a mere 15 minutes by public transport if you need to return to the capital after your tour.
