Wetlands Safari offers an excursion by canoe through the waterways close to Amsterdam. An English speaking guide will take you through unspoilt countryside and traditional villages. The Wetlands Safari provides plenty of stops along the way to acquaint you with the varying attractions that pass you by. You get great value for money with transport to and from the canoe, coffee and lunch break all included. Lunch comprises of a group picnic in a scenic country patch with only windmills and breathtaking vistas for company. Your English speaking guide will even take you for a short nature walk too.
Days, Times and Location
The Wetlands Safari is available from Mondays to Fridays and Sundays. The tour duration, including the stops is around 5 ½ hours. Starting at 9:30 from the Amsterdam Central Station, tour groups need to meet at the Bus station behind the station.
Bear in mind, on Sundays, the tour leaves at 10:00, and exclusive group bookings may leave at a time suited to their convenience. Finally, the tour occurs on a seasonal basis, that is, from the 15th April until 15th September.
