Description
The excursion day lasts about 8 hours and combines a visit to the large keukenhod tulip park and a visit to the village of windmills a few km from Amsterdam. The park is a unique experience: it boasts an incredible variety of flowers, from tulips to daffodils, spread over an area of 32 hectares while the windmills have the charm of the old factories still in operation. The first part of the day will be dedicated to the tulip park. After entering the park, participants will have the opportunity to discover the park independently, take pictures and get lost in the avenues of the 32-hectare park and 3 indoor pavilions that host new floral exhibitions every year. There are 800 tulip species on display for a total of more than 7 million bulbs. Adults will have the opportunity to visit the park and get lost among the 800 varieties of bulbs on display and younger children will have the opportunity to have fun and play in the park's famous playground/farm. We will have a lunch break at the park and it is advisable to pack a packed lunch. The park has refreshment areas but they are often crowded. The packed lunch will also save you time and optimize your visit to the park. In the afternoon around 14:00 we will move towards the country of windmills, a typical 18th century Dutch village, an enchanting place to get to know the real Holland, that of fairy tales and nature. Here we will have the opportunity to get to know the village and its traditional green wooden houses, taste Dutch cheese and visit the wooden clogs factory, an ancient shoe used for work in the fields.Includes
