Oost-Indisch Huis、または東インドハウスは、以前は強力なオランダ東インド貿易会社の本部でした。現在はアムステルダム大学の一部であり、Oost-Indisch Huisはオランダ東インド会社の世界中での歴史と影響力を叙述しています。 Oost-Indisch Huisは1605年に建てられ、おそらく当時の傑出した建築家ヘンドリック・デ・ケイセルによって建てられました。高く堂々とした柱や壁、傾斜した屋根、内部に閉じた中庭を備えたOost-Indisch Huisは、その時代よりも一歩先に進んでいました。17世紀に何度か改装され再構築され、1663年には西翼が追加され、数年後に北翼も追加されました。
