We were able to get a seat on the canal and hang out for a bit and had a lovely time! The service was great, the beers were good, and the food was excellent! We did the mix, which was a few bitterballen, cheese sticks, and frikandellen (fried sausage) and it was all really tasty! Definitely a great spot to come spend some time, have a few beers and food, and enjoy the canal views.
Cafe Wester is a cute corner restaurant not far from the Anne Frank House. The menu is limited but does include burgers, salads, pizza, snacks, hot/ cold drinks, juices, sweets, and breakfasts. Prices are reasonable.
Always great food and drinks here. Lovely setting with seating along the canal. Just across from Ann Frank Museum so very useful while waiting. Excellent and friendly staff will keep the beers coming.
We enjoyed Cafe Wester so much we went THREE times while visiting Amsterdam! That is not something we normally do when traveling. It was a great spot! Lively vibe, friendly staff, and tasty drinks. Plus, it’s in a beautiful neighborhood perfect for a stroll. Highly recommend!
@kplusds We popped in this cafe for a quick cappuccino and a bathroom break. It was a quick stop, but we put it on our places to go back to after dark!
