Nam Kee is one of Amsterdam's oldest Chinese restaurants. It opened 30 years ago in the small Chinatown. A humble place, Nam Kee has much to offer by way of good food but is not really a visual attaraction. A long interior with simple decor, Nam Kee more than makes up for the lack of fripperies with its popular Oysters and Peking Duck. In fact, the menu is vast, with over 140 items listed. The restaurant opens at 11.30AM and stays open till midnight daily. It is a great option for those looking for authentic Cantonese food in Amsterdam.
