Enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate and a traditional Dutch stroopwafel as you set out on a cozy evening cruise through Amsterdam’s canals. With warm blankets waiting for you on board, you can relax in comfort while experiencing the city’s most magical winter event: the Amsterdam Light Festival. Sailing on a modern, fully electric boat, you’ll glide past 20 light artworks created by international artists. The fourteenth edition of the festival takes place from 27 November 2025 to 18 January 2026 and revolves around the theme Legacy. Each piece tells a story about what we keep, what we pass on, and what we leave behind, from large-scale installations to personal and intimate works of art. As the boat makes its way through the historic canals, your skipper or host will share the stories behind the artworks along with insights about the city’s history and fun facts about Amsterdam itself. The combination of glowing artworks, cultural storytelling, and the beauty of the canals makes this a truly memorable experience. In addition to your included hot chocolate and stroopwafel, a variety of other drinks are available to buy on board, so you can make the most of your evening on the water. • Duration of the cruise is 75 minutes, but this could be longer or shorter depending on the traffic on the water. Please dress warmly, as it can be cold on the water in winter. Depending on the weather, we will cruise with a half-open or covered boat. On rainy days, rainproof clothing is recommended.
