Description

At Canal Motorboats we rent out boats to individuals, where you can be your own skipper. Each boat can hold up to 8 persons. We have three locations where you can pick up the boat, 2 locations in Amsterdam Centre and 1 location in Amsterdam East. All boats hold a maximum of 8 persons. Boats are rented for a minimum of 2 hours, and cancelation policy is 48 hours. There are some strict rules in Amsterdam if you are you own skipper so please read our special conditions, as for instance music is not allowed to be played on the boat.

Important Information

  • Cancelation policy is 48 hours It is forbidden to play music on the boat. You are not allowed to sail on the IJ. The person driving the boat must be at least 18 years old and sober Organising drinking parties, excessive alcohol and/or drug consumption is strictly prohibited. Note: Any fines for gross misconduct (such as excessive alcohol consumption) are for the renter. There is a €250 excess in case of damage and accident, this will be settled afterwards.
