Description
Starting with a minivan pickup in central Amsterdam, you will travel through the Dutch countryside, passing reclaimed land, farms, villages, and windmills. Upon arrival, embark on a boat tour to explore the Waddensea’s unique coastal wetlands and tidal system, which provides habitat for marine mammals such as harbor seals, gray seals, and harbor porpoises.
During low tide, observe gray seals, harbor seals, and migrating birds from the boat. The tour includes a short visit to the preserved 17th-century village of Twisk, where you can take a brief walk to experience the local atmosphere.
