Description

Step into the cozy setting of Amsterdam’s Original Stroopwafel Workshop, located in the city center. The scent of caramel and freshly baked stroopwafels creates an authentic atmosphere from the start.

Your instructor begins with the stroopwafel’s history, a Dutch specialty dating back to the 18th century. After the introduction, you will watch a demonstration of the dough preparation and cooking techniques required to achieve a golden, crispy stroopwafel.

Then, you will prepare your own dough and cook it on a traditional iron. Learn how to spread the warm syrup, or 'stroop,' between the waffle layers. Once cooked, enjoy a break with coffee or tea while sampling the stroopwafel you baked.

At the end of the workshop, you will receive a certificate and pack one stroopwafel to take home.
