Description
Amsterdam is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world, so a guided bike tour is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the city in a fun, active, and authentic way. Our tour takes you on a leisurely ride through Amsterdam's stunning canals, historic landmarks, and bustling neighborhoods. Book a private tour today and experience the city like a local!
Our 2-hour bike tour follows a special bike route through Amsterdam's Old Town, showcasing its highlights and hidden gems. We will begin our journey in the heart of the city, where you will meet your guide and receive your bike. After a brief safety demonstration, we will set off through the 9 Streets and the charming Jordaan neighborhood, passing the Anne Frank House, where you will learn about the inspiring story of Anne Frank and her family during World War II. We will continue our ride through the Dam Square, admiring the Royal Palace, the National Monument, and the iconic New church. We'll pass the famous Red Light District and see the Old Church from afar, then head to Central Station. We’ll stop at the New Market and Bloemenmarkt, the famous floating flower market. We’ll also see Begijnhof, a medieval inner courtyard where the women of the Catholic sisterhood lived in the 15th century. Enjoy a short but comprehensive bike tour with insights into the city's history, culture, and way of life.
Book an extended 4-hour bike tour to discover more sights and sounds of Amsterdam with your Private Guide. On this tour we will cycle through the Old Jewish Quarter, home to the wonderful Moorish-style Portuguese Synagogue, Rembrandt’s House, the National Holocaust Names Monument and the Auschwitz Monument in the tranquil Wertheim Park. Other highlights include the Museum District with the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.
Book a 6-hour bike tour to explore Amsterdam's Old Town, its highlights, and its quiet nature spots. We will enhance this half-day tour with a relaxing ride through the stunning Vondelpark, Amsterdam's largest urban park featuring green trees, roses, bushes, ponds and playgrounds. Here, you can take a moment to enjoy the beautiful scenery, soak up the sun, and reflect on the amazing experiences of the day. This is the most intensive version of our Amsterdam bike tours, but don't worry about getting too tired, as there will be time for a break and a local snack (at your own expense).
