Description

We'll meet at the main entrance to Amsterdam Central Station and from there we'll set off on foot to explore the main sights of the Dutch capital. We'll walk to Dam Square, a place surrounded by monuments and historic buildings. Here we'll learn about the history of prostitution and the legalization of drugs in Amsterdam. Next, we'll stroll through the Chinese quarter and tell you how the first oriental immigrants arrived in the area. You'll soon discover that you're already in the neighborhood, as the architecture and details of the establishments give away the fact that we've arrived. Then we'll head to the old Jewish quarter, where the Waterlooplein Market is located, the largest flea market in the city. We'll walk past Rembrandt's House, where the painter Rembrandt lived and worked in the 17th century. Finally, we'll experience the daily life of the locals when we reach the Flower Market. How about getting to know all this while tasting Dutch chocolates and cheeses? We'll taste these two delicacies. Finally, we'll finish our tour after three hours.
