Description
Hosted by Jouw Stoute Schoenen, this hands-on workshop invites you to create your own A5 leather journal cover in a relaxed and inspiring studio setting.
During the workshop, you will learn the basics of leatherworking while designing and assembling your cover step by step by hand. You choose your leather, color, and finishing details, then cut, punch, and assemble the cover using professional tools. No sewing machines are involved, and no prior experience is required.
All materials are included, such as high-quality genuine leather sourced from European tanneries, tools, and guidance from a professional instructor. The focus is on working with your hands, understanding the material, and enjoying the creative process at your own pace.
The workshop takes place in small groups, ensuring personal attention and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. This makes it suitable for beginners as well as anyone looking for a creative moment during their stay in Amsterdam.
Please note that this workshop focuses on making the leather cover only. The notebook itself is not included, but the cover is designed to fit a standard A5 notebook.
