Did you know that this European city started out as a small fishing village on the banks of the Amstel River and is now one of the most important commercial cities in Europe? We'll start by strolling through the historic center and arrive at Dam Square, where we'll be introduced to the history of Amsterdam and the various historical events it has witnessed, from Spanish, French and later German rule.
