What I liked most about this hotel was its simplicity. It doesn’t try to be luxurious or complicated—it focuses on giving guests exactly what they need in a very practical location. Being just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station made arriving and exploring the city incredibly easy. The digital access system was also very convenient, especially for travelers who prefer a quick and independent check-in experience.
We stayed for 4 nights, upon arrival we were instantly charged for tourist tax to a tune of €37 which I had already paid through booking.com!! No reception at the actual hotel so you have to go over the road if you need something. Stairs are really steep and if you are lucky enough to have a room at the top be prepared for a nice climb up! Fire doors are super heavy to open and make a very loud bang when closing which can disturb sleep a bit!! Overall cheap and cheerful hotel. Really good location is probably the best thing about it.

Arrived early an was welcomed an left luggage in storage didn't receive my check in information until I emailed an asked if room was ready. Pleasantly surprised by room bathroom very clean an updated bedroom needs updating ceiling was dirty an needs a fan also inside noise from other guest very noisy not sound proof but for the 2 nights an the price perfect base to enjoy amsterdam if ur looking for time in your room then maybe this isnt the hotel for u. Overal I would stay again on a budget trip to Amsterdam also the stairt are steep but not as bad as other reviews state
