Hands down my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at!!! Beautiful decor, kind staff, and lovely amenities (snacks, water, coffee, little library). The rooms are beautiful decorated and our deluxe room with jacuzzi was the cherry on top of a perfect trip to Amsterdam. Wimmel, the resident cat, made several appearances and always made us smile. Our room was quiet even though it overlooked the street and had great curtains which led to perfect and uninterrupted sleep each night. I cannot say enough good things about this very special place, I wouldn’t want to stay any other place in Amsterdam!

Hotel Estherea is absolute perfection. I spent weeks researching hotels for our one-night stay in Amsterdam, and I'm so glad I chose this one. The hotel is beautifully decorated with so much color, charm, and whimsy, while the rooms are luxurious, comfortable, and impeccably appointed. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly, and eager to help. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they happily stored our luggage so we could start exploring the city right away. One of the most memorable touches was the surprise waiting in our room to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcomed and made our stay even more special. After a long travel day, the complimentary coffee and snacks in the library were such a delight. Breakfast, which was included with our stay, was outstanding, with an incredible selection of fresh, high-quality options. Every detail at Hotel Estherea felt intentional and heartfelt. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Amsterdam.
Wonderful experience at Hotel Estherea. Staff was exceptional and always helpful. Room was comfortable with all your needs provided. Daily sweets and flavored water were a great treat to come back to after long days exploring. The hotel cats were precious. The location was great for our needs. Hotel Estherea is a jewel box of a hotel. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, from the glimmering chandeliers to the rich fabrics and textiles that make the space feel both elegant and incredibly welcoming. Interior design aside, what stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating, always going out of their way to make our stay comfortable and seamless. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, and quickly became something we looked forward to each morning. One of my favorite rituals was taking a latte into the study overlooking the canal before heading out for the day, then returning in the evening for a glass of wine in the cozy bar. Those spaces made the hotel feel less like a place to sleep and more like a place to settle into. The location couldn't be better—central enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. We also appreciated the hotel's accessibility features, including elevator access throughout the property and spacious walk-in showers, which made our stay even more comfortable. Hotel Estherea strikes that rare balance of feeling both polished and deeply personal. Between the warm service, beautiful interiors, cozy common spaces, excellent breakfast, and prime location, it became much more than just a place to stay—it was one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam.
