I loved this hotel! We stayed here for 1 night 6/23 before going on a river cruise the next day. The location is perfect - you can walk just about anywhere from it. The staff were great and the service excellent. We stayed in room 331, which had a view of the canal. It was very quiet for sleeping. The air conditioning worked beautifully and considering the heat wave AMS was experiencing, this was very important. The room decor was very modern and very unique. The bathroom was also very modern and clean. The bedding and pillows were amazing. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning and the food and service was very good. The room is small - but that is something you should expect when traveling in Europe. My only regret is that we weren’t staying longer. It’s a very charming hotel with interesting little nooks and crannies. I recommend this hotel!

A mixed stay. The room was clean but felt more functional than cozy, and there was a real privacy issue, you could see into other rooms through the window, which was uncomfortable. I also had a lot of noise from the room upstairs, so it was not the restful night I hoped for. I have been to Amsterdam more than ten times and stayed in many better places for similar money. The one genuine bright spot was the gentleman who checked me in at night, he was very kind and welcoming. The location is good, but overall it did not live up to what I expected.

The hotel was located right in the city center, and most tourist attractions were within easy walking distance. The rooms were very clean and recently renovated, and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the biggest issue was the poor sound insulation, at least in our room. We could clearly hear almost everything from the neighboring rooms and even from the room above us — people entering the room, walking around, talking, and more. One night, someone was watching a movie upstairs, and I could actually follow the movie just by hearing the sound from our room.

Lovely hotel! Very friendly reception, clean room, good bed and you can open the window! Hotel is situated more or less in the centre but it is still rather quiet place. We were thankful that we could leave our stuff there before official check in time. When we came back later, everything was taken already to our room - perfect. There was enough space for 3 of in 1 room.

Incredible hotel for the value. Very upscale and wonderful ambience. The rooms are perfect for single travelers and families. We stayed for a family of 4 for four days and had an amazing time. The staff is extremely kind and patient with any questions that you need. I highly recommend this hotel above more of the known hotel chains in Amsterdam. We have traveled all over the world and this is one of the best hotel values for any location we have stayed. We will be back again!
