Allard Pierson Museum
Located in central Amsterdam between the Dam and Munt is the Allard Pierson Museum otherwise known as the archaeological museum of the University of Amsterdam. The Allard Pierson Museum, which opened in 1934 has more than 16,000 objects, from Egypt, the near east, Greece, Mesopotamia and the Roman Empire.
