Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol

Free Attractions Museums

The Rijksmuseum in Schiphol Airport is a free-for-all museum, located in the passport control area between piers E and F. It is the first museum to be situated in an airport, and likewise, the Schiphol Airport is the first of its kind to facilitate a museum on its premises. This remarkable museum holds a distinct collection of works from the Dutch Golden Age. The Rijksmuseum Schiphol hosts three temporary exhibitions every year, in addition to its permanent one. If you feel like observing the masterpieces of the Rembrandt's and Vermeer's, this is a good place to visit.
