Café de Dam
Amsterdam
Situated right off Dam Square, Café de Dam has the dubious claim of being reputed to be the smallest pub in town. Although it is doubtful that more than 20 persons could fit inside at any given time, the bar does offer outside seating which is ideal for grabbing a cool beer and enjoying the sunshine in summertime. It also features a large range of local and foreign beers on tap and in bottle, catering to many tastes. Due to its central and easy-to-find location, Café de Dam is a good place to meet like-minded locals and tourists alike, and you may even find yourself staying for a few drinks instead of 'just one' like you had originally planned.
