Axum

Named after a city in the African country of Ethiopia, Axum restaurant serves, as you may have guessed by now, African cuisine, more specifically, Ethiopian cuisine. The restaurant is located in Utrechtsedwarsstraat, right next to the Frederiksplein. The restaurant itself is decorated in the classic Ethiopian style, using as many traditional materials and designs as possible. The same attention is paid to the food, with classics such as injera being cooked to perfection.
