We reserved the Copper Study room to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a group of 10 close friends. From start to finish, the amazing team at Jansz made this a delightful and memorable evening. From the champagne reception in their beautiful garden, to the family-style selection of delicious appetizers, mains, and dessert, the food and the service were outstanding, and they had a great selection of wines for us to pair to each part of the menu. You pay for the experience, but it is well worth it. Highly recommend for a group dinner, or just an evening out.
This was our best meal in Amsterdam by far. Lovely service, excellent food - every dish was just great. The space is well designed with tables not too close. Cocktails were also very well made. Will return when we come back to Amsterdam.
We shared starters and the food was best meal we had in Amsterdam. Lobster Bisque was best I have ever had! I have never seen smaller shrimp that had to be peeled! Remarkable!
The salmon and sea bass dishes were extraordinary, better than even Le Bernardin. Wines by the glass were excellent. Bread was perfect. Tomatoes and ceviche were excellent but not perfect. Dessert was a slight disappointment.
4.7/5 This was my first time at this restaurant, and I ordered their Christmas set menu. It only had three courses, but each one was of a high standard. My favorite was the crayfish cocktail appetizer—refreshing yet flavorful. The main course was duck breast with carrot compote. For some reason, the duck breast had a liver-like texture, and the carrot compote had a biscuit-like texture. The dessert was also very creative, but I didn't like the thin crispy topping; it lacked flavor and somewhat overpowered the other ingredients. Although it wasn't cheap, it wasn't disappointing.
