Absolutely amazing! This is easily one of the best breakfast spots I’ve tried in Amsterdam, if not the absolute best. We had breakfast here two days in a row because the food is just so delicious and super filling!
I must admit i prepare the eggs too but nothing close to this what the chef prepared. Truly tasty, mouth watering eggs. It’s a craft not just eggs. Super nice staff and friendly! You will enjoy their company. Must have in Amsterdam 🍳 Bon appetite 😇😋 P.S: second day experience. I have been there again today and the staff was new. They didn’t care about us, didn’t give menu, didn’t clean the table and we waited for 15 minutes but nothing happened. They just ignored and kept serving other people. Hence, I’m changing my reviews here. Feel sorry for the guys who served us on Wednesday. They were super nice.
I wasn’t expecting much. A place that specializes entirely in omelets? I was skeptical. But I’m really glad I went. The variety was huge we’re talking everything from classic combinations to things you wouldn’t think to put in an omelet but absolutely work. Each one is well made, not just creative for the sake of it. You can tell there’s real care in the kitchen. Friendly, attentive, and not the least bit rushed. It ended up being one of those meals where you leave happy and already planning your next visit. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something a little different and done well.
Omelegg is a solid brunch choice if you want to “get your egg on”. It’s a family-run business and you can tell they really know what they’re doing when it comes to eggs, true eggsperts 😉 We tried the Halloumi Omelegg (halloumi, mushrooms, tomato, spinach, pesto & oregano). The halloumi was really good and worked perfectly with the veggies within the omelette. It also came with a slice of thick brown bread on the side. We also ordered the Salmon Deluxe Omelegg with smoked salmon, avocado, spinach & truffle cheese. The salmon tasted fresh and good quality, and the truffle cheese added a nice extra flavor. Overall, it’s a really nice spot if you want to try different omelette combinations. The coffee was good, the staff were patient and helpful, and there’s decent seating. I believe this location is also less busy than the one in the city centre, which is a plus. That said, while it’s a good brunch place, it’s not something super special, just solid, tasty omelettes done right!
This restaurant is very popular with both locals and tourists, especially for its omelettes. We went on a Sunday and waited about 10 minutes for a table, which is normal if you don’t book in advance. The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely come back to try more omelettes.
