An homage to what is undoubtedly one of the finest dining experiences not only in Amsterdam, but anywhere in the world. Having dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, few have left as lasting an impression as Showw. It sets itself apart with remarkable confidence, originality, and execution. The restaurant describes its cuisine as comfort food, and that is precisely what it delivers—comfort food designed by an artist. I opted for the 6-course menu, and not a single dish missed the mark. Every course was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and showcased a remarkable balance of creativity and flavour. The service was exceptional throughout, with remarkable attention paid to dietary requirements, making the experience feel both personal and seamless. The sparkling tea pairing complemented the menu beautifully and was one of the most enjoyable non-alcoholic pairings I have experienced. The lobster, langoustine, red mullet, and lamb were all outstanding—flawlessly cooked, beautifully balanced, and packed with flavour. The dessert was the perfect finale, vibrant, refreshing, and memorable. For anyone visiting Amsterdam, Showw is an absolute must. Michelin currently awards it one star, but in my view, this restaurant is operating at a level far beyond that. Having experienced many Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, I would place Showw among the very best. Overall: 9.5/10.
It is one of the very best Michelin restaurants in Amsterdam. The attention to details, service, and the presentation of the food items — all are World Class. The preparations even for the vegetarian menu were excellent, fresh and highly innovation. The wine pairing with each course is a must and is in fact a very unique experience. Great attention to details and customer service is paid every step of the way. They even open the bathroom door for you and move the chair when you come back to the table. This type of innovation in food preparations and details to customer service is not seen even in Michelin3 restaurants. This restaurant is of World Class and should be awarded the highest level . One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! What really stood out was the consistency throughout the menu. Often, our experience at other restaurants is that after the first couple of courses, the quality tends to drop—but that definitely wasn’t the case here. Every dish maintained a high standard from start to finish. A slightly odd detail was the seating arrangement: we were seated facing the restaurant rather than each other, which felt a bit unusual and took away slightly from the intimacy of the experience. The staff were professional, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. It was also great to see that a vegetarian menu was available, showing thoughtful inclusivity. One of the courses was a bit too acidic for our taste, and although we said it wasn’t necessary, the staff still kindly offered an alternative and the chef surprised us with an additional dish, which we really appreciated. The wine pairing was excellent and complemented the dishes very nicely. And to finish, the raspberry vanilla dessert was a highlight—delicate, balanced, and memorable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we would happily recommend. We will return the next time we visited Amsterdam!
One of the best restaurants in Netherlands. All the dishes were very delicious. I liked they have vegetarian course menu and also non-alcoholic drinks pairing, it’s progressive and meet nowadays demand. Service is high level, dishes are incredibly beautiful, design of interior is excellent, we enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a perfect place for a special occasion. We will definitely come back!
Where to start? This is a very complete and amazing experience. Food: Absolutely delicious, with a mix of very interesting flavors. I honestly can’t decide which dish was my favorite, since all of them were truly tasty. Service: Top service! All the staff were super friendly and very detail-oriented. Not a single moment where they seemed distracted. I was really impressed by how attentive and kind they were, without ever making you feel watched. Atmosphere: A very nice restaurant, with great decoration and lighting—very cozy and enjoyable. Thanks a lot for the great food and the amazing people working there. Top place! Highly recommended.
