Description
Discover the fundamentals of aerial silks during a beginner class based in a professional Amsterdam aerial arts studio. The session starts with a guided warm-up to prepare your body, followed by an introduction to basic safety and essential aerial silk techniques such as climbs, foot locks, wraps, and simple poses.
All exercises are adapted to accommodate varying fitness levels, so no prior experience is necessary. You will build strength, coordination, and confidence under the supervision of experienced instructors in a safe, supportive environment.

Important Information
- What to Wear: Wear full-length leggings and a fitted top covering underarms and midriff to protect skin from friction. Cotton or cotton-blend fabrics are preferred for better grip.
- Avoid clothing with zippers, metal fasteners, belt loops, or hardware that could damage the equipment.
- Remove all jewellery, keep nails short, and tie back long hair securely.
- Bare feet are standard for aerial silks. Bring a light layer for warming up if needed.
- Choose comfortable, fitted clothing that allows free movement.
