Directions to De Ridammerhoeve - Goat Farm
In the heart of the dense woods that make up Amsterdamse Bos, there is a delightful organic goat farm called De Ridammerhoeve. It's a great place to go visit with your kids, since the place is right out of a barnyard tale. A farm bustling with chickens, goats, pigs, cows and a horse and pony, the kids will definitely have their hands full, literally, with feed.Children are allowed to feed the baby goats with milk or feed or they can enjoy themselves in the playground. There are plenty of young animals in farm so the kids will have loads of company. There's even a pool for the toddlers at a short distance. While the kids are keeping busy, you could take a self-guided tour of the farm to watch the daily workings of a dairy farm. You can even collect eggs to take home or enjoy a nice cappuccino and an organic sandwich at the cafeteria. They also have a farm shop where you could buy your own cheese.
