Great place to catch a meal. The truffle fries were great! The cream cheese sandwich was fresh, and the cream cheese was amazing! But the fried chicken sandwich was something special! I don’t usually order fried chicken sandwiches, but I’d get this one every day!
I visit Amsterdam quite often, and the area where this place is located is one of my favorite parts of the city. We went there with my friend for a relaxing glass of wine. The place has a lovely atmosphere, the environment is very friendly, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
I am Dutch and have lived in Amsterdam for almost 30 years now. I had lunch here with my teenage son and daughter. We had a great time. We sat outside on the nice terrace, and even though it was very busy, service was friendly, fast and attentive. The food was great too.
We stopped in here for lunch after doing some shopping & enjoyed a tuna melt (omg so good and cheesy) + a smashburger, making them lunch combos with the small Caesar salad and fries. Some rosé & we were happy. Would definitely return next time we're in Amsterdam!
A very well-known place that’s popular with tourists, but also attracts many locals from Amsterdam. The interior is beautiful, but we chose to sit outside because the weather was nice. I ordered the chicken dish and it was very tasty. However, it had quite strong spices and it didn’t sit very well with my stomach, and I had some discomfort until the evening. Perhaps we’re just not very used to such rich and intense flavors. I would visit again, but probably for coffee or drinks rather than for food.
