Dauphine

The Cafe-Restaurant Dauphine is located on Prins Bernhardplein, just across the street from Amstel station. The restaurant takes its name from the Renault Dauphine. In fact, the building of the restaurant is a former Renault garage. The restaurant is very large with a high ceiling and a trendy bar. The food is largely brasserie style. While the menu is simple, the seating space in the restaurant is a phenomenal 240pax and it is possible to eat here in large groups or even conduct private parties. The bar at Dauphine is quite trendy and they have a very noticeable wine-cooling cupboard.
