Cool Location with a stunning view. I made a reservation for 6 people at the rooftop bar for drinks - unfortunately no table was reserved. The bartender was friendly but completely overworked and it took him 35 minutes to prepare 5 gin tonics and a Coke Zero. So only 3 out of 5 stars overall
Very unique location with a lot of history. The restaurant provides a nice view of the river and north of Amsterdam. Food is nice and the setting is unique. Place is for large groups but also intimate dinners.
What an amazing place with an incredibly beautiful view over Amsterdam. Since June 2026, REM has a new owner. The building is a replica of an old pirate radio station that used to be located in the North Sea; it is a truly industrial sight to behold. The setting is chic but accessible to everyone. The staff is very service-oriented and super friendly. The food is delicious, a taste sensation, and beautifully presented. REM has a great wine menu; if you are not a connoisseur, let yourself be surprised by the staff's recommendations. This is truly a gem of Amsterdam.
Premium location in Amsterdam (requires a bit of walking if you are going by public transportation). Restaurant is in a renewed offshore structure. There is a lift to help you get up. The rooftop has amazing view. Went there for a corporate event and can recommend. Reservation is advised.
We (2 persons) came for dinner to celebrate a birthday. I had previously contacted REM about it, so we kindly got a window seat with sunset view & a birthday card was also on the table. :) Service was extremely attentive and professional. The food (4 course menu) was really really good and the atmosphere, too: quite relaxed & open, but still nice/ special enough to dress up, if you want! We loved our evening there, would definitely recommend!!
