Visited Rijks when Chef Sachin Poojary from INDDEE was the guest celebrity chef, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tasting menu beautifully combined the bold flavors of Indian cuisine with the elegance and precision of Dutch Michelin-starred dining. Every course was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were warm, attentive, and took the time to explain each dish in detail, making the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect setting for a special evening. A truly unique collaboration and a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!
The food was good, with a nice wine pairing. However, some of the wine choices were simply not compatible with the heat of summer in Amsterdam. Also, the service was sometimes a bit rude from the waitress. We'd be constantly interrupted by her in an abrupt way, and she was not friendly. Anyway, nice experience, but I wouldn't return.
This is a must-try culinary experience if you’re visiting Amsterdam. Located just 50 meters from the museum, this fine-dining restaurant offers a 3- or 4-course lunch menu at a very reasonable price (55 or 65 euros). All in all, in a sleek yet elegant setting, complemented by impeccable service, this restaurant offers refined, inventive, and delicious cuisine. There is a quiet confidence in the cooking, where restraint seems just as important as creativity. The wine pairing deserves particular praise. Selections felt considered and occasionally surprising, yet always harmonious with the dishes. It elevates the menu without overshadowing it, which is exactly what you hope for at this level. What stands out most is the cohesion between kitchen and service. There is no unnecessary theatrics—just a well-executed concept delivered by a team that understands timing, balance, and hospitality. A refined, engaging experience that I would certainly recommend.
I can't believe anyone would have complaints about this restaurant. What an amazing dining experience. Servers were friendly and quick. The lunch preset meal was robust in flavor with incredible textures. I loved the bite sized snacks with edible flowers and the citrus salad. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I'd love to come back just to hangout for coffee or cocktails.
