The Chocolate Company in Amsterdam is pretty straightforward about its priorities: produce chocolate with taste and range that could give Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory a run for its money. Unlike the latter, one doesn't need a ticket to visit the Chocolate Company, although a heavy purse will be required because once you pop, you just can't stop. Chocolate Company's USP lies in the fact that the guys in the kitchen love to experiment, be it with hazel nuts and caramel, strawberry and pink pepper, or the slightly audacious ones like the recent sashimi and banana, soy sauce and ginger. 75 different flavours bear witness to that. The shop also doubles as a cosy café, where you can sit and relax with a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. There is also free Wifi available.
